HP Indigo V12 Digital Press – Next-generation narrow-web digital press
HP Indigo V12 Digital Press is a next-generation narrow-web digital press, designed for printers and print service providers who want to print labels and flexible packaging at very high speeds without compromising quality. The V12 model is the first in the HP Indigo portfolio to use the revolutionary LEPx technology, offering a unique combination of speed comparable to analog printing, superior image quality and extended application flexibility in a digital printing format.
High speed and industrial performance
HP Indigo V12 Digital Press is designed to meet the demands of modern label production through a printing speed of up to 120 linear meters per minute (400 ft/min), similar to the speed of some traditional analog machines. This high speed combined with digital print quality allows printers to handle long and varied runs with the same efficiency.
Advanced HP Indigo LEPx technology
LEPx technology represents an evolution of HP Indigo ElectroInk technology, using six exposure engines that simultaneously deposit the color separations onto a transfer belt, resulting in a complete image on the substrate. The result is HD quality with a resolution of up to 1600 dpi, excellent detail reproduction and advanced color control. The wide range of inks allows coverage of up to 97% of the PANTONE palette, including spot colors and special effects.
Quality and consistency in production
Thanks to the LED-based writing head and the LEPx engine, HP Indigo V12 offers extraordinary image consistency from the first to the last meter of printed material. The integrated algorithms and automated systems ensure precise registration and repeatability, which is essential for label and packaging production where visual precision is critical.
Versatility in applications
HP Indigo V12 Digital Press is designed for an extensive range of narrow-web applications, including:
- ✔ commercial and promotional labeling,
- ✔ shrink-sleeve labels,
- ✔ flexible packaging materials,
- ✔ jobs with varied color and special-effect requirements.
This versatility allows print providers to expand their offerings and respond to the diverse demands of the market.
Productivity and operational efficiency
The press is designed for a continuous and efficient production flow, with non-stop roll feeding options and an inline priming system, allowing printing on almost any medium without frequent stops. This efficiency contributes to reduced production times and competitive operating costs.
