Luxel T-9800CTP HDN – Advanced 8-up thermal CTP system for maximum speed and quality
The Luxel T-9800CTP HDN series represents Fujifilm's advanced generation of 8-up thermal platesetters, designed to combine very high production speed with excellent image quality. It is available in three models – HDN-E, HDN-S and HDN-X – which meet all volume and automation requirements of modern commercial printers.
⚡ Peak performance
The top model, HDN-X, can produce up to 70 plates per hour, the equivalent of 17 complete sets of CMYK plates/hour, significantly reducing plate-making times.
⭐ High productivity for intensive workflows
The three models in the series scalably cover all production needs:
- Luxel T-9800CTP HDN-E: 36 plates/hour
- Luxel T-9800CTP HDN-S: 48 plates/hour
- Luxel T-9800CTP HDN-X: 70 plates/hour (≈17 four-color sets/hour)
This performance makes the system ideal for printers with high demands, short production cycles and continuous capacity.
⭐ Superior quality thanks to GLV technology
The Luxel T-9800CTP HDN uses the latest GLV laser technology for plate exposure, which delivers:
- ✔ extremely precise and uniform dots,
- ✔ excellent consistency between plates,
- ✔ high quality even with fine screens,
- ✔ stable images at high resolutions.
The system allows resolutions between 1200 and 4000 dpi, depending on the chosen configuration (note: 4000 dpi is optional for E/S models).
This level of accuracy is essential in premium commercial printing and in jobs with high graphic requirements.

The system can be configured in a wide range of variants, from simple to fully automatic:
- manual loading / unloading
- semi-automatic with manual loading and automatic unloading
- single autoloader (AL HD)
- multi autoloader (ML HD)
