Sakurai MS-80DDS is a state-of-the-art automatic cylinder screen printing press that extends the DDS series into an 80 cm format, intended for applications requiring very high speed, extreme precision and fully digital operation. The machine is designed for intensive industrial production and offers an optimal balance between performance, reliability and energy efficiency.

The MS-80DDS model uses Direct Servo Drive technology, completely eliminating gears from the drive system. Each movement is controlled directly by servomotors, which drastically reduces mechanical tolerances and ensures exceptional stability of the printing process, including on difficult or scratch-sensitive materials.

High precision and complete digital control

Thanks to the architecture without classic mechanical transmissions, the MS-80DDS offers extremely high precision in movement control. Essential adjustments can be set numerically directly from the touch panel, through assisted servo control. The advantages include:

  • consistent and repeatable alignment,
  • numerical setting for squeegee, doctor blade and pressure,
  • preset system for sheet size and frame position,
  • significant simplification of job preparation.

Automatic alignment and maximum productivity

The MS-80DDS is equipped with CCD (video camera) alignment systems for sheet and frame, allowing automatic reading of register marks. The press excels through speed and efficiency:

  • efficient for sheets without perfectly defined corners,
  • complete alignment setup time reduced to approx. 2 minutes,
  • maximum speed of up to 3,000 sheets/hour,
  • consumption reduced by approx. 1 kWh compared to traditional equipment.

The reduced number of mechanical elements contributes to simpler maintenance and lower operating costs.

Advanced functions and digital integration

The MS-80DDS includes modern operational management and remote access functions, allowing the machine status to be checked and remote maintenance operations to be performed. Integration into the Sakurai Smart Factory (SFF) ecosystem facilitates connecting the equipment to digital production workflows and efficient performance monitoring.
